Fire police provide support for the activities of the firefighters, ambulance corps and Colonial Regional Police Department (CRPD)

Fire Police provide traffic control and crowd control at fire and accident scenes and provide traffic control at Hanover Township functions under the supervision of the police department.

The work is not physically demanding but does require the ability of mature thought, common sense, and clear thinking. Minimum age requirement is age 21. Hanover Township residents in reasonably good health at any age are encouraged to apply. We are looking for good people to assist us in providing this valuable service to Hanover Township. Training in Fire Police duties will be provided.
