PA DOH EMS Home PageThe Department of Health is the lead agency for emergency medical services (EMS) in the Commonwealth. The Department’s Bureau of Emergency Medical Services is responsible for the statewide development and coordination of a comprehensive system to prevent and reduce premature death and disability.

PA-DOH LMS - (Login Required) The Learning Management System is a web-based system that puts educational training programs and information sharing at the fingertips of health care professionals around the Commonwealth.  LMS allows practitioners to complete training and share information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at their convenience.

PA-DOH Con-Ed Record (EMSRS) - The EMSRS is a web based certification tracking program.  This program facilitates the initial and recertification of EMS practitioners as well as the tracking of continuing education credits.  Pennsylvania certified EMS practitioners can access real time continuing education data through the EMSRS.

DRAFT EMS Act Regulations - The Bureau of EMS (BEMS) has provided a copy of the draft EMS Act Regulations for review and comment.  The regulations are NOT finished being drafted; however, since the document is going to be large the Bureau wanted to start giving stakeholders the opportunity to review and comment.
